जीवन पथ तो इक संघर्ष | Jeevan Path to Ek Sangharsh

जीवन पथ तो इक संघर्ष | Jeevan Path to Ek Sangharsh

Pathik Tumhe Ab Badhna Hoga

Letter to MJ(Wife), Breaking Stereotype

Dear MJ,

The best thing happen to me is to born & brought up in my family but that's not my decision i.e. by God Grace. Indeed, I can take credit of the next best thing happened to me & that's selection of you as my life partner. Let's brutally honest about myself, I was restless with lots of ideas but less in patience to understand, how to get them executed?
I was searching for stability in my life & in turn messing it all up. Thanks to you for letting me understand that "a good meaningful life is like climbing a mountain only having up & down's with no stable surface, searching stability in life is no different than dropping from mountain to a valley i.e. running away from life".
I am having no shame in calling you my better half as you indeed is my better half. I was nobody in past and truly I am nowhere close to perfection now but whatever little I am able to achieve today in my personal or professional life is because of you & parents, you provided me that confidence, I don't have to worry much about anything other than my ideas & work. I know & I believe that you will take care of everything else like day to day obstacles within the family, food, others expectations, relationships, social life etc. You are that good & that's too you are doing it, without any complain i.e. Unconditional Love.
You have given your love & respect to my family & accepted it as your own & that is/was acknowledged within the family & everyone admires you. I am also thankful to you for our beautiful naughty son & we both are trying our best to raise him well, although it is not even needed to be put in here but I have too, on that front also you are playing a better role than me.
A relationship is not all about daylight, we also have our dark as well. We fight for even the silliest of the things & later discuss it & have a laugh together. This is the learning curve of life & all that's put together make it meaningful. The striking thing about myself is I am the most eccentric person you ever get & that's too seems to be an understatement but credit to you for still treating it as nothing & keeping it simple & plain.
What I said above is no exaggeration but the complete truth. We both have mutual love & respect for each other. You are doing much more than what I had done for you but that doesn't mean, that I love you or respect you any less, everyone has its own calibre to express & perform, I hope you understand what I mean......
You help me to understand everything can be achieved but with a condition that you have the right state of mind & when you truly believe that you can pull this off.

"Perfection is all about learning & understanding from imperfection. A man is not called a man till the point he is brave enough to acknowledge & understand his shortcomings...

Thank you my better half & lover still, "MJ".............

Your Everloving Stupid Husband

Life, Gambling & We the Star

Life, Gambling & We the Star

When life is all about ifs & buts, definitely our life is failing with excuses. It's too simple to understand it, basic funda is to try, fail, learn, understand & then try again. Yes, that's it, it's that simple.

Come on but no one finds it that simple, yes that's right too, simply because most of us don't understand this funda & legends don't care :)

Everyone wants to be a hero in his/her own life & again it is thrilling to have a life just like an action/masala movie. Who wants to watch a "documentary"? Even the "biopics" in today's generation are filled with masala & action. If we are that much allergic to real life movies then how can we accept a dull/plain life?

Of course, we want to treat our life as a movie, in which we are the Star, yes that's right that Bigggg Starrrr...

It's lame, we the star are having problems with the movie script Oops with our life. Now the star within us wants to be a scriptwriter too, yes its mesmerizing to be an allrounder. We need to play with the script/life now, as we want to make our life a thrilling masala movie.

Every then & now we start taking chances & gambling with life is the way to go.

The only problem it has is the original director, GOD. God doesn't play dice & he even doesn't believe in those, who believe in gambling. The reason is pretty basic to understand, God is 16 Kala Sampurna & doesn't make mistakes. Someone who doesn't commit mistakes, never have the opportunity to learn from them & hence he doesn't understand & if someone doesn't understand obviously will not able to do a favour for us even in case he wants too.

God is more like "Shyam Benegal" & help us with pure movies like "Ankur" or "Bharat Ek Khoj". With all our fantasies we want to make "Sabse bada Khiladi" & seriously its neither his cup of tea & nor he is interested in it. Too many conflicts & god decided to left our movie & in the absence of the director, producers to pull their hands from this project.

Now with all our ego, we are like who cares, I am a star & yes a big starrrrrr...

We are all alone to work in this project/movie but even then we keep our head high as we never compromised with our ideas & fantasies, till the point, we realise that it is not a movie but our life damned & we screwed it up.

Life, Gambling & We the Star

Life is not a dream but a reality & we find it too complex & dark to live with. Now we wish that its all may turn out to be a bad dream & we surely wake up & have that simple life again. As Galib said:

Hazaron Khwahishen Aise Ke Har Khwaish Pe Dum Nikle.. Bahut Niklay Mere Armaan Lekin Fir Bhe Kum Nikle...

With all broken dream & fearing reality, we will find evaporation of our ego & then we finally realise "what is photosynthesis". Now "Khatron Ke Khiladi" become "Ramu Kaka" & instead of conflicting with God using dialogues "Mai tujhse kuch nahi mangta" our newly crowned "Ramu Kaka" will complain "Why me God, why me(Mai he kyunnnnnn)...

"It's God turn & now he will not give a damn to it, he seriously doesn't care. The only kind words which enchant our ears are "you deserve it MF...

But you see once a star is always a star, failing is not final. We have our own excuses for each & everything, again as I said life is all about ifs & buts for a failure.

Survival Of The Fittest, Why ??

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST

I found this as an interesting topic & it seems to be the ultimate truth of life, but is it actually? Let's try to dig deeper & find out.

Survival # On first look, it reflects the fight for existence, It gives us a healthy feeling of competition. It feels good to fight & to succeed. Its approach is aggressive & of an optimist.

If you look into most of the theories based on life, those theories always come to the conclusion that in this world those survive or exist who are the strongest, fittest, Quickest & sharpest.

One of the most popular theories in Science is Darwin theory. Consider as a Landmark in the "Evolution of Science".

Darwin Theory Conclusion-- Survival of the fittest.

The logic behind Darwin theory-- They have the vision, they have the speed & they have the power.

Is it the ultimate truth? If yes, then the percentage of fittest is less than 1%, then what the rest 99% will do. Most of us are not the fittest, not the quickest, not have that much vision & by no mean the strongest.

If we go by above theory, it is pretty much clear that most of us are not supposed to do things in a big way, we are not supposed to tackle difficult situations & neither supposed to be a part of revolution, which is/will be responsible to force people to think or work in a different way or to change the existing mindset/pursuit.

I respect this theory & I agree that it is partially true but it is not the complete truth. Nature is always fair & square with everyone; Fate doesn't do partiality.

Why these theories always look to one end of the coin, where is the other end? It seems these theories are inspired by Hindi movie Sholay. It looks, the author love to play with Jai coin before practising these theories.

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST

Like everyone, I also have my point of views to prove worthy of my words. I completely believe in the story of tortoise & the rabbit, I also firmly believe in the movie named as "Rocky". As per survival theory, portrayed characters on those stories were bound to lose, they supposed to show their back & get the hammering but that never happened. My point of having belief on both of them is not only because they won their respective battles but, also because they were able to overcome their fear/challenges & as underdogs they kept on fighting till the very end irrespective of the odds. Due to all this, they were able to beat those who were Quicker, stronger & sharper than them.

Above reasoning shows, "one who never give up, more often than not wins, Irrespective of the ability of the opponent".

The logic behind my reasoning- Nature is such that nobody in this world is perfect, everyone has their own flaws. The strongest is not the fittest; fittest is not the quickest & true for all other qualities as well. Even the abilities of a genius are limited to a particular trait.

How is it helpful for us rest/average people?  In this competitive life, we need to prepare us as per the best of our abilities & always keep in mind that we need to fight until the very last. We need to believe that even against the people who are very best in their traits, we have our chance.

If we believe on above, what will go to happen?  Everyone will start their respective battle/competition with their strength, you will definitely get the hammering at the beginning against the more stronger opponent but if you keep your never die attitude with you & if you hang on & doesn't lose your focus. Your stronger challenger may get frustrated & may deviate from his strength/game plan & try to do things differently. That will be your chance to try to pull that game in your favour, you will succeed more often than not.

So next time if some of those people don't believe in you. Call you an average/mediocre, don't feel disheartened, just give them a warm smile & prepare for the situation. "Always remember that your actions will always roar louder than your words".

"Existence & survival are not patents to them who are the Quickest, the strongest & not even to them who are the fittest but only those survive/exist who never give up & who actually believes that they can & they will make a difference"

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST

It is hard to be a Man, Really ??

Hard to be a Man

As a male child (gender specific), We have born perfectly fine but when we grow with age down the line, we fantasies by the term "Manliness". Unknowingly, the very first thing which comes to our mind in relation to it is we are male; hence we must possess every quality to gain "Manliness". While trying to achieve so, we always keep on adding taboos to it, like man has no fear, man cannot cry/man shed silent tears, man does not show his pain, being manly we must borrow the load of everything, man cannot fail or made mistakes, life is a battlefield & man need to keep on fighting till he won & man is this/that & many more.

Keeping above things in mind, it seems really difficult to be a Man, let’s work on facts:

The man has no fear # It is perfectly fine to have some fear, I am quoting Karna from Mahabharata:

When Shalya(Sarthi of Karna) asked Karna don't you get fear by seeing roar of Arjuna Gandeev(Arc), Karna replied yes I am fearful while seeing Chariot driven by four white horses, Arjuna as fighter, Krishna as his Charioteer but my fear is keeping me conscious, awake & motivating me to fight with the best I have.

Hard to be a Man

Man cannot cry/Man shed silent tears# It is perfectly fine to show off your emotions with your loved ones, once in a while. Keep them beside you, they are the most precious jewel you ever have & they are with you in your thick & thins for a reason. Show them your love & affections & yes your emotions as well. They will motivate you & when two or more brains work together results will come.

Man does not show his pain# You are not built of Iron, you are human & there is nothing wrong in being a human. You can show your pain, the only thing that matters is how you get up & react to it that will seal your fate.

Being manly we must borrow the load of everything# Yes if you are single but if you have a family & you are doing so, then you are fooling yourself. Your parents will always guide you in the right way, you will not go wrong even a bit if you keep listening to their advice. If you are married, your wife will always be your best supporter & your worst critic, you must understand that we called her our better half for some reason, you must share & see the change.

Man cannot fail or made mistakes# it is the biggest joke of the decade, Albert Einstein once said: "A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new". You must do made mistakes to learn & to understand.

Life is a battlefield & Man need to keep on fighting till he won# Yes, life is a battlefield but you must remember that we are human & we have our limits while keeping our self always in switch on mode make us tired/exhaust quickly. We cannot win our life battle in such a way. In order to maintain continuity, we must maintain a balance. We can't keep our self-switched on every time, we have to realize when to switched on & when to switched off & then when to switch on again. We need to enjoy life, we need to see the sunshine, nothing harms to have laughed to crack jokes & to see this beautiful world in relaxing mode.

You need to understand that we are no "16 kala sampoorna" i.e. only Lord Vishnu, We are not the Ironman either. We are humans & our fate is not dependent on taboo like this. Our fate totally depends on how tough we are mentally, how long we resist & how we learn from our failures/experiences, keep faith in your dreams & believe yourself!!

I am aware that now some of you will find, all my reasoning above highly debatable & you might say that I am exaggerating the facts or showing fanaticism over reality but again the word "Manliness" is itself a fanaticism term on its own. At last Be Normal & act as a human!!

Hard to be a Man

I Don't Fear Your Opinion, I Know Who I am

I Know Who I am

Do you ever realize, in our lives, most of the opportunities went unaddressed due to the fact that we are always conscious/fearful about what others will say or react to it? Before moving ahead, let's agree on the fact "fear is not good for success".

It is something which is fed to us, when we are growing as a child. It starts at home with Parents "Sharmaji ke bache dekho kitna padhte hain, ek tum ho cricket se subah aur cricket se shaam, fail hojaoge, Log kya kahenge(LKK), jag hasai karaoge". Same also haunt us during our school tenure when our teachers compare us with other studious students (If we are not top notch) of our class & say see how they are doing & then see how you are doing, "Zindagi me kuch karna hai ya yehi karna hai jo kar rahe ho, apne parents ko kyon dhoka de rahe ho & others in class start whispering, Ganda baccha". If we are good at studies then the fear of expectations (teachers/parents) & what others will say will always be there. The movie named "Taare Zameen Par" is an excellent example. Instances may change but somewhere down the line; it may end up covering the story for everyone.

Down the line, when we grow as an adult, we always have that LKK syndrome playing in the background & now the circumstances will be different. Now we are more conscious about how we look? How we behave? How is it to react like this/like that? What do others think about it? What others say about it? While trying to play safe, we start doing the thing which doesn't come to you naturally & it is obvious that we are not good at it. We start doing mistakes & creating trouble for us & down the line we even go more conscious about these things.

We might be good in singing/dancing/writing/sports & we may be passionate about it but we never seriously tried to have a career on this as if I fail "log kya kahenge, parent’s ke expectations ka kya hoga". So to avoid it, we again play safe with our career & try to have a decent job i.e. Naukri & that is the end of our constructive vision, because at that time we like something else & just to avoid "hard way", doing something which we don't want to do & don't have any vision about it.

Next stage, we grew older as be Man/Woman, We feed the same to our children & they do what is expected of them.

Reading all of you may argue with me that I am exaggerating the facts & dragging it too long. I know everything mentioned above is not applicable to everyone but again by giving multiple examples, I tried to touch maximum individuals I can. It is a generic problem & better to call it a syndrome or taboo. It will make us a different individual all together which we never want to be. Trust me even then other will say what they have too & you will be fearful all your life just because to avoid that altercation.

Some of you may advocate the fact that what is wrong with it? we have a settled life, we are earning good & we also are able to maintain a good work/life balance & tumhare paas koi kaam nahi hai sivaye ungli karne ke. Ok, I have a counter question then, what is the difference between us & animals? they are also doing what is good for their survival & we are no different, just by virtue of looking different do we have the right to call us human? I don't consider it as determining factor. With this attitude, we don't dare to call us as superior species. Our Ancestors not by looks but by creation by innovation by thinking by using their brains, by their daring nature & continuous efforts proven our-self as superior species over others.

Who I am

A few years back, I was no different & faced the same problem; I was reserve & even shy sometimes. It is more to do with consciousness syndrome "LKK" although I was doing good as per whatever expectation I was having that time but somewhere inside I was unwell, I was burning like a volcano, I was flowing like a river but from outside its all normal/safe like a deep ocean at the shore.

During that phase with time I realized "when I am less strained with expectation, I always deliver more". Self-realization is the key, it was the missing link & it will solve most of our problem & kill that "LKK syndrome". One wise man & that's me once said: "Till the time you don't take yourself seriously don't expect from others, think highly of yourself as everyone will believe you if you challenge them to their limits".

Problem is we don't give time to self, we tried to give our opinion in each & everything & conscious about the same from others as well but most of the times we are not brave enough to listen to our inner core. We need to understand our self-first. I always said, "Either you fear or you dare, the choice is always yours". We need to understand "who I am".

I choose the hard way, I decided to check my limits, if I will give a design, It will be without a single flaw, If I have to take a stand for what I believe, I will take, If I want to blog, I will blog, If I want to express feeling in Shayari, I will do Shayari, If I have to do counselling for someone, I will surely do it. What do others think about it? What their opinion is? Or what others will say about it? I couldn't even give damn to it.

I know I am pretty good whatever I am doing & whatever I will do & I will keep challenging myself to check my limits & one thing is pretty sure "Sky is the limit".

We need to understand "If we have some passion, we need to protect it & need to work on it to improve it even better. Others who have any business about it & what they never able to achieve in their life will try to discourage us, try to demotivate us, again the onus is always on us how we take care of our thoughts & how mentally strong we are to deal with it & keep moving forward.

The catch is "always take care of your thoughts, sooner or later you will definitely finish the line as a winner at least in your own eyes".

I always believe, "Time may get tough but I will smile knowing the fact, I am stronger today then I was yesterday & I will be stronger tomorrow then I am today".

I am loving my life, I spend time with me & that is why I am aware who I am :)

Who I am

Believe me, you will not lose? Motivation

Believe

Digging into life, the biggest challenge we face is fear of failure (FOF). "Choor yaar lagta hai nahi ho payega, Jo kar raha hai karta chal". Sometimes "Bhai kismat kharaab hai", Next time “Bhai usne wo course kar rakha hai isne ye kar rakha hai, hume kaun puchega”. We always look into who are others? what others do? To find many more excuses. Why we never asked ourselves, who I am? My strength, my weakness, how can I improve? Why we forget, that most successful people and so-called fathers of inventions are mostly all school/college dropouts. They are able to do it, due to their positive attitude & talent.

Hum haar ke dar se, Kuch yun khoye rahe..
Manjil samne the, aur hum soye rahe..
Majboor thi Kismat bhee, kya deti sath humara..
Hum aankhein band karke, Yuhin naseeb par roye rahe......

Sometimes, we take ourselves too seriously, what if I failed? Everybody knows, nothing will happen but yes we will learn & grow & be a better man next time. Do most of us follow? No, why? It is due to fear of failure (FOF), we all know but don't want to understand this.

"One thing is as clear as crystal, Fear is not good for great"

We want instant results, Like "two minutes noodles", like "Crash course" "like boot camp” & many more. All fast food chains like Mac Donald’s, Dominos, and Subway are all beneficiaries of this weakness of us. Even during the first step, we are desperate to get the results, that is not because we are not aware of the process but due to the fact, we don't want to lose after giving that much time & efforts to it. We lack the patience to go through the tough times & improve ourselves.

"We need to understand every failure, looser & quitter has one thing in common, they ignored two most precious lessons of life... Persistence & Patience"

Due to FOF, we tried to do things in "safe way". "Yaar isko aise he karte hain, panga kaun le". "Leave it, Bhasad hai yaar, koi aur dekhega". Let me tell you, it is the most unsafe way to deal with this. We tend to start avoiding each & every opportunity & challenge which we believe is difficult & may prove out to be a failure. The result we never try, we never learn, we never improve, hence we never grow. A wise man once said:

"A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new"

Let me tell you, there is nothing wrong with failure, in fact, it will help us to groom ourselves, it is nothing but the life experience, and it is the most precious jewel. We fail, we learn & we become wiser & we understand, then only we are able to implement what we want too.

"If necessity is the mother then for me failure is the father of all inventions"

Don't be afraid of failure just do what you love to do, you may fail, you may fall, people may laugh at you, you may feel down, you may cry but never quit. The positive side is you will feel good about yourself; you will be better & wiser man next time. Keep your competition with you, nobody else matters. There is no guarantee that you will succeed next time but yes you will perform better that is for sure.

"I am not in competition with anyone but myself, my goal is to learn & improve myself continuously"

If you still think, from where you will get the inspiration? Go nowhere, talk to yourself more often & you will feel less afraid of failure. A true man once said:

“Talk to yourself at least once in a Day, otherwise you may miss a meeting with an EXCELLENT person in this World.”

Believe

Still puzzled, here is your answer # I am a father, I observe my son carefully, I am seeing my son grow every day, what amazes me is that when he was infant he doesn't know how to move? he kicks his leg & tries to lap through with his arms. He failed 100 times but he never stops doing so, eventually, he mastered it. Then when he grows a little bit older, he doesn't know how to stand straight. even then, he tried his level best to run with a smile. As a caring father, I was afraid for him, he fell 1000 times, he cried, he gets injured but he never stop doing so & that's too with a smile & eventually, now he mastered how to run. He is not aware how to talk, but he is trying hard with his slangs "te taa, mu, mutu, dudoo, papa, mama, baba, dadi, duzoo, Dua, Nani, Sacha, lite, mankha, mansi, toot gaya & many more". He is giving his best, with all he has. He is just a rookie right now, knowing him so well, I am aware that surely & steadily he will master it as well. If my son(an infant), he knows nothing, he has no experience can do it. Why can't I? He is my inspiration. He is a fighter, Why can't I? I am his father, I will lead him by my example & I will give it all it takes to raise him good.

"Time may get tough but I smile knowing the fact I am stronger today, then I was yesterday & I will be stronger tomorrow, then I am today"

Since I have done mistakes, sometimes I lost miserably; nothing is expected of me, so why should I fear? I have no ego, I am always a beginner, and I am always ready to learn, as I am no one but a student of life. Always remember:

"I came here as no one, I have nothing to lose, everything here is an opportunity & WIN"

Nationalism portrayed as Patriotism, IRONY?

Nationalism vs Patriotism

Today, If we search for news(newspaper, news channels or in social media), mostly what we get is about Indo Pak war, Hindu Muslim conflicts & boiling hatred between us. Today the most common thought everyone tries to drive through is either you are Nationalist or Anti-national. Nationalism is portrayed in Canvas as Patriotism irony is most of us are accepting both of them as the same thing.

Nationalism vs Patriotism

"The basic rule of Patriotism is when love for your country & your people come first, Nationalism is when the hate for people other than yours come first"

We all are mature enough to understand this, then why so much fuss & rift? Fact: When about country, everyone tries to drive it through emotions. We all want to serve our country in some way & that is why we are very much get fascinated by the term "Patriotism".  This is the advantage which politicians are always looking for either it is JP Moment, Anna Moment, demonetization, Indo-Pak ties all were/are successful because we believe we are serving for the Nation cause, do we? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
The problem we all have, before supporting such things we never check the actual package but the wrapper & believe whatever it is, I am doing it for Nation cause. While doing so we fall into the trap of being a Nationalist rather that a Patriotic one.

"Patriot is proud of his country for what it does, and the nationalist is proud of his country no matter what it does"

Somehow, whatever I have written above is covering one face of the betrayed audience, some of us are also opportunist people, having our own agendas, nothing to do with nation cause, our own motives & our own greeds always comes first. Hindu-Muslin hatred, Caste reservations, Quota system & much more blah blah blah, do you think all of this has anything to do with nation cause? No.
These are the people who try to use political parties as tools to support their hidden agendas, either in a frame of communist, nationalist or socialist.

"Democracy get killed that very day when we stop questioning our leaders about their work & start praising them for fooling all of us to fulfil our own greed’s"

Hindu-Muslim hatred is serving in such a way that anyone who supports this is considered as patriotic & who oppose this is termed as "anti-national". Politicians are trying to inject this into our veins & I found them very much successful in doing so.
This thing is such poisonous, that if you speak up the truth, it is creating a rift between friends, family & loved ones. Most of the people who echo that mentality are aggressive as well, they try to bully you, troll you, harass you, defame you. Sometimes you even get the thought "yaar sab mil ke yehi bol rahe hain, kahin ye nafrat he to theek nahi hum sab ke liye, fir baat dhyaan aati hai, ye desh ke liye theek nahi hai".

"Nationalism is an infantile diseaseIt is the measles of mankind."

Now even the crimes are seen through spects of Hindu Muslim hatred
Rape/murder/homicide/genocide to anyone needs to be condemned & we all need to echo our voice in support of the victim to get the justice irrespective of its religion. I have seen people advocating the fact that it was done earlier with people of our religion & now it’s our turn to give them back (Hindu or Muslims), they call themselves "Nationalist". They are feeling even proud of doing so. This mentality is sick & deserve mental treatment "kyonki ye aaj nahi ruka to kal meri kaum ke andar mere he log meri he behan betiyon ke sath ye karenge".

"A criminal is a criminal, a rapist is a rapist, a murderer is a murderer, he doesn't see your surname before committing a crime"

Nationalism kills democracy; they kill each & every voice opposing them.

"Ab kyon bol rahe ho, tab kyon nahi bole. Iss ab tab ke beech be kai wajeef sawaal dafn hain".

Nationalism has nothing to do with nation, they are in fact poison for the developing country because they divide & they rule by creating hatred between all of us. We have witnessed Naziwad of Germany, Faasiwad of Italy in past, That was "Rastravad i.e. Nationalism", what happened? Broken dreams, a disgrace to the country, at last, written apology to the whole world for their thinking & wrongdoing.

"Nationalism is a coalition of pythons, which do nothing for their society but whenever get a chance will take even the last bit of free air from the body of every creature of same society they live"

At last, I was in no mood of writing all this, as it is a very controversial topic & many of you might get offended while reading this blog. It might come as a disappointment, as I am taking a calculative risk of losing my audience. For me, a blog is all about speaking real me & there is no point in hiding, what I feel.

Nationalism vs Patriotism

Caste Reservation a Boon or a Curse?

Caste Reservation a Boon or a Curse?

I have given my absolute best during my research on caste system & reservation but whenever I tried to write anything about it, I always find myself too mediocre to portray it in the right direction.

"Casteism is a poison which is yet to get an antidote"

The class system was inducted into our culture from the Rig-Vedic period, Intension was to create a healthy society where grades were divided into a framework. The class system was originally segregated in four Varna’s Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas & Shudras. It was originally formed & inducted by keeping karma as the baseline but due to complexity with time "Caste System" took its place & birth was taken as the baseline as it was convenient for a socially stronger section of society to follow.

"My karma will decide my caste, being a Savarna by birth is not a boon but a responsibility"

In the caste system, I describe the magnitude of untouchability taboo for weaker section prior to independence as follows:

If we don't allow other people of the same religion to build their livelihood in the same village we live, don’t allow them to take water from the same well we drink, don't allow them to visit temples, don't allow them to sit with us & don't allow their children’s to even get education, don't allow them to do any respective work/job to earn living & treating them less a human & more as taboo or untouchable.  Then we have no right to complain, how Britishers were treating us & why that socially weaker section (Shudras) were changing their religion from Hindu to Muslim or to Christian.

"Caste is not in the blood through which we can relate with but a sick state of mind which leads to a weak & intolerant society"

In Mahabharata, Karna & Ekalavya were the prime examples of how society treats the lower caste section in the past. Nobody was ready to give them respect, knowledge & treatment they deserve. Whatever they were able to achieve was on the basis of their sheer talent & determination. Keeping karma into account they were true Savarna’s, In addition to it "Karna was even a great donor & often regarded as Danveer Karna".

To give representation to socially & educationally weaker section along with SC & ST in public sector, reservation comes into picture during the initial draft of our Constitution. A total of 22.5%(15% to SC & 7.5% to ST) of all central government employment were reserved for them(Jobs, promotions & seniority). It was also mentioned that it needs to be get reviewed after 10years & then parliament will take a call on its progression or suspension.

"Reservation is a dangerous game which government plays to dis-root society to fulfil his hidden greed’s in the name of empowerment"

Years go by, but not does the reservation from Nehru to Indra, Indra to VP/Mandal, Mandal to ABB/kamandal, kamandal to Manmohan, Manmohan to Modi. Review in parliament never happened, all thanks to great caste & vote bank politics. Strangely reservation exceeded from 22.5 to 49.5% now (27% OBC) & it was even granted for all public educations institutions as well.

"Caste system is like a Chameleon having many shades each one is more poisonous than the other one"

The intention behind the induction of cast reservation was government will bring social & educational reforms so that socially weaker section will get the opportunity to educate themselves (academic & socially) & further get the representation with the help of reservation in society. It was expected that with time, the socially weaker section will get its representation in society & we will reach a stage that reservation will be no longer required. Contrary, social reforms never came & only beneficiaries of reservation were the non-deserving creamy layer of the socially weaker section.

"A nation/society will lose its shine & talent when undeserving people will start getting praise & opportunity from politicians in the name of caste reservation"

You will find it hard to digest that we have 27% of reservation for OBC but only 12% seats are actually filled in public sector & it is not allowed to fill the backlog with deserving candidates (Non-reservation). The question arises, why it is like such? The reason is even harder to understand, the dropout rate for the socially weaker section till secondary education is still more than 83% which was 97% at the time of independence, strange? Let me make you even more familiar with statistics out of rest 17% only 9% will reach up-to higher education & more than 50% of that 9% is from the creamy layer of the socially weaker section.

"The section which is socially & educationally weaker & actually need this reservation, never stand a chance"

What is the creamy layer? Son of an SC/ST/OBC government employee or an MLA/MP called as the creamy layer as they are no longer socially & educationally weaker & do not need any reservation. Contrary, That section is getting that quota reservation(most of them are non-deserving) & deserving candidate will lose the opportunity due to this flawed system. An amendment came to restrict the creamy layer to get the reservation but as expected its implementation is far from reality.

"Harijan to wahin hain aur ab sath me Savarn ke halat bhe kharab hai, fayada to har baar ke tarah unn avasar vadiyon ne he uthaya hai"

History has shown us, politicians & rulers always divide us to rule. Mugals, Britishers & our own black/brown Indians are no different, they are all from the same breed called as politics. Lalu, Nitish, Mulayam are OBC & Mayawati, Ramvilas & Ram Nath Kovind are Dalits. Though most of them are not using reserved seats to contest the election but every single political party is guilty of using caste card during the election & thereafter. They just want all of us to see ourselves as the victim of other Varna’s/Caste & in-turn help them to fulfil their hidden greed’s via vote bank & caste politics.

"Sarkar parda numayish ke hunar se khoob wakif hai, ye har uthne wale wajib sawal par Shavarno aur Daliton ka parda daal deti hai...........

Caste reservation is all about representation of socially & educationally weaker section (both criteria need to be fulfilled) in public sector/society, which also faced caste discrimination over a period of time, it is not a reform to empower the poor’s. One such PIL from a poor Brahmin boy was rejected by giving the same explanation "though this Savarna boy is poor but never faced such discrimination or representation crisis in society".

"Don't allow caste to dictate your fate, It is just a state of mind a notion, life is much more beyond this"

I deliberately portray this subject as a story rather than keeping it straight on data & statistics as it is a blog & my intention is to find the right direction rather than cursing our past as a documentary. In my opinion, caste reservation was inducted as a boon in the constitution for weaker section & with time our politics have turned it into a curse for everyone & for generations to come.

"As per Bhagwat Geeta everyone is Shudra by birth & I am no different; I will not use my caste to defend myself, let my karma speak about me"

Degradation of Humanism: Breaking Stereotype

Humanism

The journey from home to workplace & vice versa is not only about physical exhaustion but more about the dissolution of personality. We can’t describe it as the struggle, a struggle is more to do with temporary obstacles. We all are living/performing in two Trans in a single frame. Contrary to perceptions life outside is a bit easy in comparison to life within, it takes more than the assurance to please ourselves & only final effort counts.

“Inner core is the courage who keeps you relevant irrespective of how difficult will be the time”

My intention is not to go hard on circumstances but more to do with degrading lifestyles. People don’t have much time for themselves & they still talking about conquering the world. These days it’s rare to have a healthy discussion within & so reflects on the personality as well. Glossy smile, people struggling with keeping patience, we rarely see off others, resistance to failures not by improving but through ignorance & of course imaginary social media life.

I am not saying we were perfect in the past & we faltered now. In fact, it’s no exaggeration, If I say we are as stupid in past as we are now but with time we have lost humanism a bit, we have lost the art of self-realization & to share to express it with others. It was common in the past that we all have some story to tell irrespective of how mediocre we were. The success, the failures, the struggle, the regrets, the proud moments, the pinch & all of these laced together with emotions to form a meaningful life & we were no short of ideas to had a healthy discussion.

“Every life irrespective of how ordinary it is having many unfolds tales to tell…..

I am not sure when we started thinking this way that unfolding ourselves with our close buddies would present ourselves weak. When we turn so diluted, that now the discussion is only limited to exaggerating self-epithet, politics & back-bitching of others, its plain negativity. Not sure how spreading negativity will help us to present ourselves in a stronger frame?

On the contrary in process of proving ourselves superior to others, we are ignorant to inner voice & in the absence of soul's voice, we start believing that what negative illusion we are spreading outside is actually our inner voice. This is called “degradation of humanism”. Ironically we lost ourselves & turned into a feed data robotic machine which believes what we said, what we heard & what we interpreted are all true & in the interest of our family & our nation. We are celebrating this as festival & our soul is crying as we have lost our “strength of dissent”.

Humanism

I am having no shame in accepting that my two-year-old son is far more human than me. If you compare the behavioural aspects towards those poor’s to which even after sharing a penny or so & that’s too with some distance, I felt good about myself. My son is bit different, he even doesn’t care about protocols, the standards the hierarchy,  if someone shows his love irrespective of how poor it is my son don’t shy to show it back, he sits on his lap & pampers him i.e. unconditional love. He is filled with Ideas & never be shy about sharing/expressing them with us & don’t get mistaken it is not only about good things, but he also shares his stupidity, his failures, his struggles & most of all his naughty point of view.  It gives him a space to improve himself by getting feedback from our experiences.

At this point, you all may think that how stupid I am to compare the adulthood with infant life as with time & age his behaviour & attitude to deal with different situations will change & I agree to it. That’s my point, why it happens?

I have given two example first demonstrate our failure to understand humanity, most of the times giving money to beggars are not actually helping them but pulling them further towards deep dark reality of poverty & human trafficking, on the contrary side my son gestures show them the respect/love they deserve & it’s more about breaking stereotypes, it gives everyone a message that we all are on the same page begging is not an option & we all need to work hard to earn every penny.

The second example shows us about our reality, most of us are all weak to acknowledge our struggle, failures, mistakes & only admits success & that creates an illusion of a perfection which we never were/are

“In process of achieving a single objective in outside world by ignoring our inner voice, we are unconsciously losing much more important battles within….

It is not that hard to correct lifestyles, the only hard part is to take initiative. Talk to yourself more often & search for the solutions, doesn’t shy to express yourself with close buddies, admit your failures & work on them, rest your inner voice will keep you on the ground & more human.

“Living life is only for those who understand & conquer the conflicts within, whom able to see themselves in the mirror, otherwise we all know how it feels to take the breath & live like a machine…..

Demonetization: Struggle for Existence | Hard Reality

Demonetization

Demonetization in terms of India

When government revoke the legal tender written on the Indian currency i.e. Oath ('मैं धारक को “xx” रुपए अदा करने का वचन देता हूंor “I PROMISE TO PAY THE BEARER THE SUM OF xxxxx RUPEES”) signed by Indian Reserve Bank Governor Would be no longer valid.

Personal Experience with Demonetization

I still remember the date 8th Nov 2016, I was travelling from my office back home, It was late around 9:00 PM, I was bit tired & and also thinking about my sister wedding arrangements as we were already on the countdown as it was scheduled for 17th of Nov.

I received a phone call from my wife & I was used to start/hear phone discussion with my wife with magic words “ILU”.  It was a bit different as her voice was a bit shaky, I said what happened & she replied where are you? I said on my way back home. She inquired again: On your way back, is it possible for you to visit an ATM? It was a bit awkward & I again asked what happened & this time she replied: Demonetization post-midnight & I said what?? She again said firmly “1000 & 500” currency notes are no longer valid, I again said what? She replied you heard it right, I said OK & dropped the call. I was shell-shocked as we were already less on cash& all the arranged wedding vendors’ were dealing in cash only. I visited multiple ATMs but all in vain as almost all the ATMs were having old currency notes & others are having panic/long queues but no money. I came back home dejected & slept.

Next day early morning, I again visited many ATM’s to get some money & what I had seen was never-ending queues outside the bank & ATMs, total chaos, panic, hue & cry. The only thing missing was the money in banks & ATMs. I never left hope, with my father I visited every Bank/ATMs/relative/ bureaucrat/political leader in order to get new currency notes, most of the efforts went In vain. I still remembered that whenever I said that Idea is idiotically implemented, most of the so-called pseudo-economists within family/relations/neighborhood tried to interrupt me & justifying the fact it is all for our good, during that daunting time I heard the best punchline of my life i.e. "You are in pain but the Nation will Gain" another one is "Indian customs are flawed do marriage in court, save un-necessary wastage of money". With luck & with the help of few good people/relatives/family/vendors we were able to arrange some money & marriage was done in the whatever mere/silent way possible.

As I lived that pain & dejection, after my sister marriage I felt bit relieved & immediately decided to dig deeper into the implementation of demonetization as what I saw/observe on the ground (I was a bit more on the ground simply because I have to arrange a lot more money for the wedding) i.e. Panic/chaos/pain in Banks & their ATMS was completely different from what was shown in newspaper & news channels. Things were fishy, everyone is suffering but still, there were only two kinds of people one pro & the other were anti demonetizations.

Government version in favour of abrupt induction of Demonetization

There was no absolute version of government for abrupt induction of demonetization, the government keeps on changing their primary goalposts/version on the basis of outcome from day 1 to this day. The way the government keeps on changing the objectives it seems even they were unsure of the outcome/results of the demonetization.

Pilot Version (8th Nov 2016) # Demonetization was inducted primarily to target black money & to counter fake notes/currency which was in circulation during that period.

Goalpost shifted to (27th Nov2016) liquidation of currency & step towards a cashless/digital economy, It was not even mentioned during the pilot version of government & to target the corruption of the privileged. Then again Goalpost shift to (7th Dec 2016) force Indians to put “domestic savings lying idle at home” into the banking system, so that banks can use that money to “give loans at lower interest rates”, further shift to version (27th Dec 2016) demonetization had neutralized the money held by Maoists, terrorists and human traffickers, thereby cutting off their business. Again a shift (11th Jan 2017) “It is to target verification of suspect substantial deposits is likely to widen and deepen the tax base" after demonetization.

Final Version/Goalpost (30th August 2018) # After the RBI released its data on 99.3% of demonetized, Government said that people had not understood what demonetization was. The goal of demonetization was redefined once again. "Object of demonetization was that India is predominantly high cash economy therefore that scenario requires to be significantly altered."

Demonetization

Flawed Implementation

I said it earlier & I am repeating it again that the way government abruptly inducted demonetization was way off target. There were flaws in planning & implementation, what economist observed that government had not assessed risk factor well & whatever we had seen was a mere reactive action rather than proactive to deal with complications post demonetization, which was eventually never enough.

1). India simply doesn't have the infrastructure for a cashless economy.
2). Introducing higher denominations (Rs. 2000 note) facilitates black cash.
3). The government was completely underprepared new ₹2000 notes were smaller than old notes and ATMs have not been modified to dispense them. Thus, ATMs were storing less cash and thus running out faster.
4). Sensationalized the move and announced with great drama caused chaos with Many myths were spun around it, which made people panic. ATMs reporting long lines and establishments refusing to offer change.
5). In the absence of cash & POS device in hospitals, some hospitals were even denying treatment.
6). Cash is a tiny portion of black assets only 6%, the Major portion is gold &properties.
7). A study shows it is worthless in India case to go demonetization as printing cost of new currency (12000 crores) will be more than the fake currency (400 crores) in circulation.

Demonetization Aftermath

After effects of demonetization are a mixed bag, we gained some & we lost some. At last when we are summarizing the facts that what we actually gained & what we eventually lost. The resultant is disastrous we have no point defending & we have to admit that we lost much more than what we eventually gained.

99.3% of old currency back in system, Fake currency claim backfires as printing cost of new currency (12000 crores) was way more than fake currency (400 crores) in circulation, Government claim on attack on terrorism also prove fishy as fatal incidents after demonetization increase to 93 leading to deaths in Kashmir, including security forces, militants, and civilians. The sensationalization of demonetization created chaos & panic everywhere Bank & their ATMs reporting long lines and around 150 citizens lost their lives. GDP received a severe beating & India also lost the status of the fastest growing economy, Country lost 2.25 lakh crores rupees to develop demonetization background infrastructure. India lost 15-20 lakhs jobs & more than 50% of the micro, small& medium scale industries due to unavailability of cash in the system, Number of tax filer increase by 11 lacks but all of them file income of 2.7 lakh i.e. beginning of tax slab that means a very small taxable amount. Housing/property sector seen constant price tags after a long time, that kept on spiking in the past.

Opinion on Demonetization

The way demonetization was bulldozed with flawed planning & implementation due to which government left with only option to keep on changing its versions/objectives but at the same time never come short while sensationalized it & advertising/portraying it as a great success. The opposition may doubt that the immediate objective was just to weaken other parties for UP elections & get immediate attention from the voters as they initially projected it as the biggest attack against black money.

“We must understand that Implementation is important but it is equally important to understand the intention. In my view, if the intention was holy/evil, the outcome will only be the mere reflection of what was planned/drafted behind the curtain”

After the RBI released its data on 99.3% of the demonetized currency was came back to system & attack on black money proved out to be a mere myth & Outcome of demonetization also reflected that we lost much more than what we eventually gained.

It seems the government is now trying to divert attention from the real deal & at the same time shifting its goalposts/objectives further. While seeing all this happening, I want to quote two lines written by a known Shayar”

“Tu idhar udhar ki na baat kar, ye bata ki kaafila kyun luta..
mujhe rahzano se gila nahin, teri rehbari ka sawaal hai…..

I have lived that pain when people were in the dilemma to either celebrate the national interest or cry against their own misery. Every time I think about it the oath will go by my eyes & it seems it remains always be in my subconscious mind for then, now & forever.

'मैं धारक को “500/1000” रुपए अदा करने का वचन देता हूं

I have seen some people advocating the implementation of demonetization with their non-existent logics & trying to bully others with their pseudo-national aggression. The truth is out & as expected demonetization had not done well but so as our democracy.  No-one can take that out from me that I was not criticizing the demonetization but its implementation from that day to this day & I felt my version was/is right.

"When I criticized the implementation of Demonetizations, people called me sick & ask me to think in the national interest, which I was eventually doing. I have learned with all my experience that a "sick person" is 1000 times less dangerous than a "bunch of blind followers" for their own motherland"
